Description
Château Haut-Grelot was born in 1920 from a humble farm in the village of “Les Grelots”. The estate was established by a great-grandfather who dedicated themselves to cultivating vines and raising livestock. At Château Haut-Grelot, they believe in balancing innovation with tradition. While their cellar boasts state-of-the-art equipment and technology, they remain deeply connected to traditional grape varieties. Their vineyard’s diverse terroirs contribute to the authenticity of their wines.
The vineyards span 58 hectares and are meticulously tended by the fourth generation, Céline and Julien. Sandy-gravel on hillsides bordering the Gironde Estuary, imparting fruitiness and power to their red wines. Sand-clay-silt on hillsides further inland, contributing freshness, expressive aromas, and delicacy to their white wines.
