White WineCrafted solely from hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes, Domaine Altugnac Chardonnay undergoes fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks, complete with malolactic fermentation, ensuring the preservation of its freshness and varietal essence. Despite hailing from a warm region, winemakers Jean-Luc and Christian masterfully maintain acidity, tension, and vibrancy in this white wine. This particular vintage bears a striking resemblance to Chablis, boasting a pale straw hue and aromas reminiscent of lemon confit, white flowers, green apple, white peach, and yuzu. On the palate, it is bright and invigorating, enveloped by a mineral core that culminates in a lifted finish.
Red WineThis natural wine is an exceptionally pure expression of Syrah. Grapes are handpicked from 25-year-old Syrah vines and fermented at low temperatures, using indigenous yeasts only. No chemical additives were added so as well as being organic, biodynamic the wine is natural. It was bottled rapidly in the year of harvest with no added sulfites and no oak ageing. What strikes you about this wine is its purity, silky mouthfeel and its intense long finish. The flavours and aromas are all classic Syrah – plums, black fruit, leather.

This 2019 Minervois ‘La Régence is a full-flavoured and perfumed wine showing notes of ripe cassis with elegant cedar and chocolate notes and a fine, velvety texture.
The vineyard is located in the heart of the ‘Petit Causse’ terroir, in the Cru La Livinière production area, which lies between Carcassonne, Béziers and Narbonne. The 30-year old vines are grown on the hillside plots, on clay-limestone soil. The clay component retains moisture and nourishes the vines through the warm, summers, while the limestone imparts elegance to the resulting wines. The vineyard is orientated towards a southern exposure, which captures exceptional sunshine, over 300 days per year, which enables the grapes to reach excellent maturity and concentration. The Mediterranean is less than 25 miles away, which influences the vines with cooling oceanic breezes. The vineyard is surrounded by scrubland, with thyme, lavender, rosemary and almond, fig, cherry and olive trees all contributing to the aromatic complexity of the wines. The vineyard is managed using strict organic processes.
Red WineThis Pinot Noir with garnet-colored juice is perfumed with fine spices (nutmeg and cinnamon), mocha, and Montmorency cherry. Its texture finds its balance in a generous flavor that is felt in a velvety tannin highlighting the finesse of the grape variety.
The vineyards is full of Turitelles fossils, these marine sediments are carried by a limestone and clay base, forming sloping plateaus in the landscape, on which the vineyard is located. This terroir in the foothills of the Pyrenees is known for the quality of its hillsides and its sunny and cool microclimate.

The main characteristic of the vineyard is the soil, which is formed of ‘gress’, an accumulation of rounded pebbles that have been deposited by the overflowing Rhône River thousands of years ago. These pebbles allow the vines to grow in the best possible conditions and due to this natural soil filter; the vine’s roots can easily draw the necessary water for their growth. The vines also benefit from the Mediterranean sunshine, which brings the grapes to perfect maturity and allows them to be picked at maximum phenolic maturity which assured elegance in the resulting wine.

The Grenache for Lunatico comes from a small north-facing vineyard over half a century old. The grapes are hand-picked then sorted, though not destemmed, and vinified very gently over a 25 day period using only natural yeasts. The 24 months spent in 600-litre barrels gives Lunatico an ageing perspective of 10-15 years.
