This incredible value wine is produced by the Cellers Unio co-operative in Terra Alta, west of the Catalonia coastline. Garnacha thrives in these hot conditions, while the local winds blow through the vineyard, helping to temper the heat and keep the vines clean.
The wine opens in the glass with expressive aromas of flowers and red fruits with some really interesting balsamic notes. The palate is ripe, fresh and fruity with a touch of sweetness.

This wine has aromas of black fruits, vanilla and toasted almonds, with a rich and rounded palate. It will pair beautifully with grilled meats, stews or cheese.
A Monastrell from 50 year-old-vines, Hecula is a deep, alluring purple in the glass, boasting aromas of blueberry, wild raspberry, and liquorice with hints of violet and allspice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with an inviting richness. Notes of toasted cedar and nutmeg are neatly integrated with red berry fruit. Silky mouthfeel and soft, ripe tannins are balanced by the wine’s juicy acidity.
This wine is from Las Gruesas and Pozuelo vineyards which are situated at an altitude 750 metres above sea level. This area has a very different microclimate from the rest of the region which is clearly continental. It has minimum temperatures of -10°C in winter and up to 42°C in summer. The area is prone to infrequent but heavy spells of rain. The average age of the vines is 50 years old and the density is 1,600 vines per hectare. Soils are a mix of sandstone and limestone.

Rainwater is collected in a small reservoir and is used for drip irrigation in the case of extreme drought.
This organic Rosé is made from 100% Tempranillo and is an approachable but serious rosé, displaying great purity of flavour in a light, elegant style. Pale strawberry in colour, with fresh berry aromas and subtle floral notes, this shows excellent fruit concentration on the palate. The grapes were carefully sorted upon arrival at the winery and the three varieties were fermented separately in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures of between 14 and 16°C. The wines were matured on their lees for two months, with periodic racking to add complexity. Carefully blended showcasing wonderful freshness, aromatics and pure fruit flavours.

This fantastic 100% Tempranillo is from the Toro appellation which is in the Castilla y León in north-western Spain.
This is a young, fresh expression of Tempranillo aged for 6 months in 100% French oak. In the glass it has an alluring deep red colour with a very expressive nose of berries fruit, caramel and vanilla notes. The palate is rich and structured with supple tannins. Flavours of red fruits, vanilla along with hints of balsamic abound. A fantastic Bbq wine made for drinking in the next few years.

The fruit for Hugonell Crianza comes from vineyards in Rioja Alavesa, Rioja Alta and a little from Rioja Oriental. The average age of the vines is approximately 15 years and the soil patterns in the vineyards are a combination of the well-known limestone-clay-alluvial mixture, which is found in most of Central Rioja.

The soils are generally deep with sandy components, which imparts agility and depth to the wine. The Tempranillo Blanco variety produces few clusters, which means it ripens quickly, this trait is balanced by the soils which impart natural freshness. The vineyards are farmed using sustainable methods; chemical sprays are not used, instead organic products are employed in order to protect the environment and biodiversity of the vineyard. This sustainable approach encourages the best expression of the terroir and a true reflection of the aromas and flavours of the white Rioja grape varieties.
