  • 2023 Malbec ‘Raices’, Andeluna Red Wine

    2023 Malbec ‘Raices’, Andeluna

    £1295

An enlivening and elegant mountain-fresh Malbec, with fresh floral and fruity aromas of plum and wild blueberries. The soft and fruity palate offers great freshness and balance, with a lovely concentration of ripe fruit.

‘Raices’ translates as Estate and the grapes for this wine come from vineyards located in the Uco Valley, Mendoza at an altitude of 700 metres above sea-level. The soils are poor in organic matter, which encourages the vines to send their roots deep into the soil in search of nutrients and water, resulting in subtle complexity. The climate is warm, with very little humidity, a combination which provides naturally ideal conditions for premium viticulture.
