  2022 Rose De Nymphe Émue, Château Maris

  The name “Rose de Nymphe Émue” refers to a variety of pink rose that was brought to France at the end of the 17th century, from Crimea.

  It’s considered a summer rosé par excellence to share with friends. Its roundness and hint of acidity make it perfect to accompany a picnic, salads, barbecue. The serving temperature is recommended to be 10-12°C.

  In the glass, It has a pale salmon pink colour, the nose has strawberry bob-bons, dusted with icing sugar, and a pert feeling of freshness. In the mouth, it’s rounded with creamy fruits, and a hint of sweetness.   The acidity is good, giving this balance and meaning the finish is dry and citrus fresh.

  The winding road leading to the plots of Syrah vines located on the terraces at the foot of La Livinière gave its name to this expressive wine.   In the glass La Rouge opens with aromas rich black fruits, smoke and cocoa. Inky purple in the glass the palate displays full-bodied richness, beautifully integrated acidity, juicy ripe tannins and no hard edges.

  This is 100% Grenache from old vines, with no sulfur added; pure and fresh.

  In the glass, the colour is deep red with violet hues. Elegant aromas of red fruits (pomegranate, cherry) and wild Mediterranean herbs waft from the glass. The medium-bodied mouthfeel seduces by its freshness, its roundness, its juicy and vibrant character. Ageing potential : 3-5 years

  The 2018 Les Amandiers is made with the grapes coming from a single parcel of just one hectare from some of the estates oldest vines in La Livinière.

  This exceptional vintage has a very limited yield. Made predominantly with Syrah grapes, this wine offers  a wonderful bouquet of black fruit, blackcurrant and blackberry aromas, with notes of white flowers, wet rock and liquorice. The mouthfeel is full, powerful, and caressing. Its very velvety tannic structure balances its fruity richness and generous body, combining to give a lingering voluptuousness. Aging potential : 10 -12 years
