The evocatively named Kidnapper’s Chardonnay takes its name from Hawke’s Bay’s dramatic headland of Cape Kidnappers. It is made with grapes grown at Te Awanga, where the cool coastal breezes enhance Chardonnay’s acidity and fresh flavours, translating here to a medium-bodied, crisp style with ripe peach aromas and complex layered aromas of cedar and spice. This is Craggy Range’s answer to Chardonnay from Chablis.
