    Domaine Lafage, situated between Perpignan and the Spanish border in Côtes Catalanes, Roussillon, has been run by Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage since 2001.

    The Côtes Catalanes Côté Sud offers pure, lively notes of blackberries, currants, garrigue, pepper and assorted spices to go with a medium to full-bodied, layered palate feel.

    This wine is made from a blend of 3 terroirs, hence the name ‘Côté Sud’.  The Syrah vines are 30 years old and the Grenache vines are 50 years old.

    A juicy, pale rosé, with strawberry, citrus and orange peel aromas. Ample minerality as well as a medium-bodied, racy profile on the palate, to be enjoyed young and fresh.

    The vines for this wine are cultivated on stony soil (galets roulés) close to the Mediterranean coast giving beautiful maritime freshness. The average vine age is 25 years old for the Mourvedre and 75 for the Grenache.

    Domaine Lafage, situated between Perpignan and the Spanish border in Côtes Catalanes, Roussillon, has been run by Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage since 2001.

    This is 100% Grenache Noir is a ripe wine, loaded with red and black cherry fruit and hints of cocoa notes, lively, rich, deep and velvety in texture with lovely freshness.

    Named after Jean-Marc’s and Eliane’s son, this wine is produced from a selection from vineyards in the Têt Valley and from higher-altitude plots near Les Aspres and Maury on marble-schist soils surrounded by garrigue. Average age of the vines is 65 years old.
