Delara is the flagship red of Guerrieri Rizzardi’s Bardolino portfolio, a CRU-designated wine from Montebaldo that showcases the purest expression of terroir and variety. Sourced from the hillside vineyards around Cavaion, Delara represents the pinnacle of red winemaking within the Bardolino DOC, made with an exceptional 95% Corvina, the highest ever used by the estate, blended with a touch of Rondinella.
In the glass, Delara exhibits a luminous ruby hue reminiscent of fine red Burgundy. Aromatically, it offers an elegant interplay of wild red berries, floral notes, and savoury spice, underpinned by the distinctive fragrance of Corvina grown on the Montebaldo slopes. On the palate, it is refined and vibrant, revealing pure cherry fruit, delicate spice, and a silky tannic structure that speaks to both the variety and its unique location.
