Guerrieri Rizzardi2023 ‘ Keya’ Bardolino Chiaretto Classico DOC, Guerrieri Rizzardi
Veneto, ItalyVintage: 2023
Delicate in colour yet rich in character, KEYA is a vibrant and expressive rosé crafted from selected hillside plots in the villages of Cavaion and Bardolino, on the eastern shores of Lake Garda. A true expression of Chiaretto Classico, it embodies years of careful vineyard selection and stylistic refinement to capture the essence of this unique terroir.
KEYA (inspired by the first syllables of Chi-a-ret-to) is both a tribute to the wine’s roots and a nod to the Venetian heritage of Contessa M.C. Loredan Rizzardi, whose passion and leadership helped shape Guerrieri Rizzardi’s legacy with Bardolino Chiaretto.
On the nose, it opens with floral notes and fresh red berries, followed by a palate that is vivid, fruit-driven, and refreshingly dry, showing excellent energy and purity. The finish is long, clean, and savoury, making it both a charming aperitif and a versatile food companion.
Food Pairing: Perfect with rice and pasta salads, seafood, crustaceans, white meats, and even mildly spiced dishes such as Thai or Indian curries.
Why we love it
A stylish, modern Chiaretto that balances finesse with intensity—KEYA is a fresh take on a timeless classic.

Description
Guerrieri Rizzardi is a renowned winery located in the Veneto region of northern Italy, specifically in the Valpolicella area. The winery has a rich history and is well-known for producing high-quality wines that highlight the traditional and modern winemaking techniques of the region.
Guerrieri Rizzardi’s vineyards are situated in some of the finest wine-growing areas in Veneto, primarily in the Soave and Valpolicella regions. These regions are famous for their volcanic soils, which provide ideal conditions for growing the region’s signature grape varieties. The terroir, combined with the winery’s commitment to sustainable farming practices, contributes to the distinctive characteristics of its wines.
The winery’s vineyards are located at varying altitudes, which helps to create a balance between the ripeness of the fruit and the freshness in the wines. The combination of different climates and soils enhances the complexity of the wines and allows for a broad range of wine styles.
The grapes are destemmed, crushed and then pressed; the wine is then vinified, the same way as a white wine, for 10 -12 days at a temperature of 15°-16° C in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. A few months in temperature-controlled stainless steel & concrete vats.
