Fermented 84% in seasoned French oak barriques and 16% in stainless steel, this wine offers an elegant balance of subtle texture and bright, expressive fruit.
On the nose, lively aromas of lime zest, lemon blossom and white peach are lifted by a flinty, mineral edge and delicate fig nuances. The palate is fresh and focused, with a linear citrus drive, moderate alcohol (12.5%) and a lovely chalky texture that speaks of its Hawkes Bay site. The finish is crisp and mouthwatering, leaving a refreshing trail of citrus and wet stone.
