2021 Sauvignon Blanc ‘Sibaris’ Gran Reserva , Undurraga
£1550Add to BasketThis exceptional single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc has a complex nose of zesty grapefruit and lime is accompanied by hints of black pepper and delicate floral aromas, with herbaceous and mineral undertones. Harmoniously balanced on the palate with delicious acidity offering mouthwatering citrus and mineral tones through to a persistent finish.
The grapes are grown in the Lomas de Leyda vineyard, situated in the Leyda Valley. The climate is moderated by the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean and summer coastal fogs which last until midday. This effect extends the ripening period, ensuring slow ripening and the development of intense and very fresh flavours and aromas. Average rainfall in the Leyda Valley is 250 millimetres. The soil is finely textured and of low fertility. The upper layer is thin loamy clay, with a layer of cracked clay over decomposed granite, which has a varied mineral structure. The valley has gentle slopes with areas exposed to differing levels of sunlight exposure.

2022 Sauvignon Blanc ‘TH’, Undurraga
£2250Add to BasketHead winemaker Rafael Urrejola has spent a great deal of time understanding the diversity of Chile’s vineyard sites; the result is the emblematic TH – ‘Terroir Hunter’ range.
This Sauvignon Blanc from Leyda Valley has enticing aromas of citrus fruit, lime and mandarin that are underpinned by spicy notes of blackcurrant leaf, green chilli pepper and chalk. This is a vibrant and juicy Sauvignon Blanc with refreshing, zesty acidity and delicate mineral notes.
The grapes were sourced from small plots within selected vineyards in the Leyda Valley, 14 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean, where the vines are cooled by the South Pacific breezes and the morning coastal summer fog. Located to the west of the coastal mountain range, the Leyda Valley’s finely textured soils are developed from granite rock on the coastal batholith formed 200 million years ago during the Jurassic period.
