    This crisp white wine shows incredible mineral, zesty citrus and floral notes, with a hint of spice and characteristics hints of bitter almond. Prominent mineral characters linger on the long and precise finish.  Pair with aperitifs, sushi, grilled fish, shellfish, oysters, pasta, wildfowl, blue cheeses.

    On the hills near Gavi, not far from the Ligurian Sea, the Cortese grapes are grown, producing this Gavi D.O.C.G. Cortese is a white grape variety grown in the Alessandria area, especially on the hillsides surrounding the town of Gavi. This variety is not very robust and requires good climatic conditions in order to ripen properly. In the Alessandria area, it has found the essential conditions to produce excellent results. The soils are rich in marls and fossils, providing a unique terroir for this unique wine.

    From one of the best sub-zones in Gavi, the aromas are intense and elegant with hints of white flowers, golden apples and mineral notes. Well structured and balanced on the palate, with fragrant notes leading to incredible length on the finish.

    Rovereto is a small, but privileged sub-zone of Gavi recognised as one of the best microclimates for the production of the Cortese grape. The vines are grown in mostly calcareous clay-marl soils of volcanic origin, which are rich in iron and magnesium.
