White WineFrom high in the Andes surrounding Salta come Piattelli’s Cafayate wines, grown at an elevation of over 1,795 metres. This is a fragrant, fruity example of the Torrontés variety. Bright and fruity with guava and rose petals combined with refreshing tropical fruit flavours and a delicate hint of spice on the finish.
Red WineThe smooth cool-climate Classic Malbec delights the senses with an aromatic bouquet of ripe plum, blueberry, blackberry and violet. With great structure on the palate, the vibrant fruit flavours are beautifully balanced through to a fresh and charming finish.
The vines are grown at high altitude in Cafayate, situated at 1,700 metres above sea level surrounded by the Andes Mountains. Cafayate is one of the highest regions in the world suitable for viticulture and this high altitude is what defines the terroir of the region. The vines are exposed to intense sunlight which results in the grapes forming thicker and darker skins to protect themselves from the ultraviolet rays; leading to more colour and flavour concentration in the grapes. The diurnal temperature difference results in an extended ripening season, producing concentrated grapes bursting with flavour but with a balanced structure.
Red WineA rich and inky Malbec full of aromas of blueberries, cedar and spice. Opulent and textured, with wonderful fruit concentration and beautifully integrated oak, through to a long, persistent finish.

The distinctively colourful Argentinian mountains are formed of many geological layers. The splendour of this area is the pure water and extreme thermal amplitudes. The diurnal temperature differences create longer ripening periods, which concentrate the flavours in the grapes, with the cooler evenings encouraging a balancing freshness. Additionally, the grapes develop thicker skins to cope with the intensity of the UV rays at this altitude, which further concentrates the flavours in the wine. This makes this not only one of the most beautiful but also one of the premier grape-growing regions in the world.
