  A light and fresh blend of southern French varietals which come together with delicious notes of crunchy red and black fruits on a smooth, juicy palate. Easy drinking style.

  The grapes come from the AOP Côtes de Roussillon, where the vineyards are located within a natural amphitheatre open to the Mediterranean Sea and are surrounded by mountain ranges. The climate is Mediterranean, strongly influenced by cooling coastal breezes combined with mountain-freshness from the foothills of the Pyrenees which balance the hot, arid summers. The vines are grown on the Roussillon plains where the soils are made up of alluvial marls with black schist, which imparts great aromatic complexity to the wines, characterised by notes of black fruits, garrigue and freshness. The vineyard is certified organic.

The oak tree-covered hillsides of Cogolin provide the ideal setting for cultivating grapes that yield iconic, pale pink, Provencal rosé wines.

  This shimmering salmon pink rosé offers a delightful expression of Provence’s terroir.   In the glass, it opens with profound scents of strawberries and raspberries, hints of citrus, and herbaceous undertones.   Château de Valois is a traditional right-bank Bordeaux from a small property with a growing reputation.  Beautifully traditional they blend Merlot and Cabernet Franc grown in iron-rich soils just a stone’s throw from Chateau Figeac and Chateau Cheval Blanc.

  The 2016 nose is bursting with blackberries, exotic spice and hints of smoky oak and cedar. On the palate, the texture is rich and generous, with soft tannins. The finish has a good freshness and is full of lingering ripe fruit.

Abundant sweet tannins and a good full-bodied structure surround the depth and complexity of flavours through to a long, harmonious finish.
