The name “Rose de Nymphe Émue” refers to a variety of pink rose that was brought to France at the end of the 17th century, from Crimea.
It’s considered a summer rosé par excellence to share with friends. Its roundness and hint of acidity make it perfect to accompany a picnic, salads, barbecue. The serving temperature is recommended to be 10-12°C.
In the glass, It has a pale salmon pink colour, the nose has strawberry bob-bons, dusted with icing sugar, and a pert feeling of freshness. In the mouth, it’s rounded with creamy fruits, and a hint of sweetness. The acidity is good, giving this balance and meaning the finish is dry and citrus fresh.

Château Maris is recognized as one of the five most environmentally friendly wineries in the world.
Château Maris is a vineyard located in the Languedoc region in the South of France. The vineyard extends over 45 hectares of land, divided into a multitude of plots. These plots are interspersed with natural areas and follow the well-exposed hillsides. The vineyard is situated on the best plots of La Livinière, which run along the foothills of the Montagne Noire in the heart of Minervois in the Hérault department. Château Maris is Ecocert certified since 2002, then Demeter, indicating their commitment to organic and biodynamic farming practices. It’s also a Certified B Corp since 2016, which means it meets high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
The Rose de Nymphe Émue rosé wine from Château Maris is made using a unique vinification process. The Grenache Noir grapes are pressed directly without being in contact with the skins. This process helps to extract the juice from the grapes while minimizing the extraction of tannins and colour from the skins. The juice is then fermented in a stainless-steel vat or in concrete..
