  In the glass, this wine exhibits vibrant, characteristic aromas of ripe blackcurrants, blueberries, and dark plums meshed with hints of dry Mediterranean herbs and subtle spicy, toasty oak. The generous palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and red currant characters. Medium to full-bodied, the fleshy fruits are supported by moreish, supple and ripe tannins. A balanced wine, with a persistent fruit finish with beautiful regional savoury inflections of bay leaf, black olive and liquorice and subtle oak influences.

  In the glass, the bouquet of this elegant, fruit-driven Chardonnay offers fresh pears, gala apples, and grapefruit characters with underlying hints of cantaloupe melon and hay. Oak is merely a bystander, yet its subtle influence adds another layer to the fruit aromas.

  The palate is medium-bodied offering apple, pear, quince fruits and zesty citrus flavours with a delicate creamy texture derived from lees stirring. A bright, refreshing wine; crisp and dry, with a lingering fruit finish.

  The wine is best consumed in its youth however it is certainly suitable for medium-term cellaring of 3-5 years.

  In the glass this classic Bordeaux blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon exhibits a vibrant bouquet of passionfruit and fresh lime characters, with and hints of dried herbs and floral notes in the background. Medium-bodied, the zesty palate offers freshly squeezed citrus flavours combined with tropical fruits and a touch of spice. An easy-drinking ‘Classic’ Margaret River wine style with wonderful purity – crunchy, fruit-driven, lip-smacking dry with crisp acidity and a clean refreshing finish.

  Full-bodied yet refined, the generous palate offers a core of inky berry fruits; boysenberry, blackcurrants and Satsuma plums. Dense and well-structured, the palate is layered with these dark fleshy fruit characteristics and ripe tannins which culminate through to a persistent Cabernet finish

  This highly awarded, modern, sophisticated and striking Chardonnay displays all classic Margaret River hallmarks.

  This intense, pure and aromatic Chardonnay displays aromas of fresh nashi pear, white stone fruits, citrus zest with underlying hints of oyster shell and a subtle saline minerality. Intertwined and balanced oak sits in the background bringing complexing nougat and nutty notes.

  The palate is medium-full-bodied with white fleshed stone fruits and pears flowing through. A bright natural acidity from the Gingin clone is ever-present displaying fresh citrus juice and kaffir lime, giving a beautiful mouthwatering freshness. The powerful fruit is balanced by a backbone of ripe phenolics which gives the wine generosity, poise and persistence.

  We fell in love with this wine the first time we tasted it in 2013, it is a classic Margaret River – elegant, precise but with underlying power and intensity that draws you in for the next sip.   Lovely flavours of white peach, grapefruit and hints of brioche all enhanced by the nutty/creamy notes from the barrel fermentation.   Just delicious.    Only 1800 bottles made and we have 4 of them left!

  The Quintessential Margaret River Cabernet, with perfumed black fruit aromas and a generous, velvety palate packed with irresistible dark forest fruit and chocolate characters.

  The Reserve range continues to be the best of what Xanadu are able to produce in a given vintage – single vineyard or otherwise. Fruit was predominantly sourced from two mature, dry grown vineyards; Timber Creek, in the Wilyabrup subregion; and Victory Point in the Treeton subregion of Margaret River and was supplemented with a small amount of Malbec from the Stevens Road vineyard in Wallcliffe. The resulting blend from these vineyards has married beautifully, proving again that sometimes ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’.

  The Reserve range continues to be the best of the best of what Xanadu can produce in a given vintage. This is the 11th consecutive release of Reserve Chardonnay, 100% of the fruit for this wine is from the estate’s oldest iconic Chardonnay vineyard, the Lagan Estate.

  The bouquet of this powerful, yet elegant Chardonnay displays fresh pear and lemon/lime characters with underlying hints of roasted cashews and frangipani adding complexity.  The sophisticated palate is medium-bodied with a wonderful purity of fruit, offering pear puree, zesty grapefruit flavours and a quartz-like, almost crystalline, mineral edge to the structure. Pristine fruit and tangy acid focus the wine to a crisp, lingering finish

  Cullen’s Kevin John remains one of Australia’s classiest Chardonnays and is named after a pioneer of the Margaret River wine region. Biodynamic and carbon-neutral practices result in this incredibly perfumed wine which has intriguing aromas of white flower, orange blossom, fig, pear and kaffir lime. It leads to a poised, expansive palate defined by a fine, mineral acidity that drives the characteristic Kevin John flavours of lime, fig, dried pear and honeysuckle. Beautifully balanced, it shows many years of promise ahead.

  Cullen makes legendary wines that are internationally renowned and highly sought-after and none more so than its Cabernet/Merlot blend the ‘Diana Madelaine’.   This rare 2002 is still so fresh and alive with the renowned Australian Wine writer, James Halliday recently at an anniversary tasting giving 97points and a drinking window of not less than 25 years which takes us to 2027!

  This vintage also happens to one of Winemaker, Vanya Cullens favourite wines.
