Fresh, mineral, well-balanced, with juicy cherry, crunchy redcurrant, blackcurrant, fresh flowers, and a touch of liquorice. Mellow tannins and good length.
Only the best grapes selected from the oldest vines make it into the Cru, which is then aged for 12-18 months in oak.

The 2019 Cricket Pitch Red is a multi-regional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz sourced from premium regions including Beechworth, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra.
In the glass it has a beautiful deep colour with youthful tints, the aromas open with juicy berry fruits and subtle spices. The palate is juicy and fruit driven with fine long tannins. All in all a great glass of wine and although it is made as a drink-now style, it always benefits from a few extra years in bottle.

Château Preuillac is located in the heart of the Médoc. The vineyard covers 30 hectares on a single site. The soils vary with 50% of the vineyard being clay, limestone, and gravel soils; 25% gravel soils, and 25% sandy-gravel. The average age of the vines is 40 years. The vineyard is managed according to the principles of ‘la lutte raisonnée’, or sustainable viticulture. Much of the work in the vineyard is done by hand to optimise the quality of the harvest.
Red WineOpulent, “Worthy of a grand cru”, according to the Hachette Guide, this pure Merlot is aged in new barrels, a glass of rich, powerful wine with a beautiful balance between roasted aromas and intense black fruit flavours. With velvety tannins and well-integrated oak, the dark berry flavours are complemented by hints of cigar box and a smooth, elegant finish.
2016 has been lauded as an excellent and classic vintage in Bordeaux and this wine certainly lives up to the hype.
Red WineA traditional and deeply coloured Bordeaux, with a delicate, elegant bouquet of blackcurrant and tobacco through to a smooth, silky palate with a touch of raspberry on the finish. This second wine of Château Cantemerle comes mainly from the Château’s young vines and is produced in the same way as its elder brother. Les Allées de Cantemerle has the same great personality as the Grand Vin, but is ready to drink earlier.
Situated in the Haut-Médoc, the Château de Cantermerle vineyard covers 91 hectares of vines. The soils are silica-gravel, which are a result of a thousand-year-old erosion of the Pyrenees by the River Garonne and form one of the fundamental elements of this quality vineyard. The soils are poor in nutrients, so the vines ‘struggle’, resulting in grapes with a high concentration of flavour. In addition, the small pebbles in the soil provide a filter and contribute to the grape’s maturity by reflecting the sun’s rays during the day and retaining the heat during the cooler nights. The vines have an average age of 30 years.

Lingering and harmonious with not a single element out of place.

The Campo alle Comete winery is located at the foot of the Castagneto Carducci hill in Bolgheri. The oldest vines are planted around the cellar surrounded by the Mediterranean bushland. The proximity of the sea with its constant refreshing breezes plays an important role in the vine’s growth and for the maturation of the fruit, where the fresh breezes impart natural balancing acidity to the sun-ripened fruit.
