Grillo is the flagship of Sicily’s indigenous white varieties, with its aromatic and floral nose. Pleasantly fresh and harmonious, with ripe melon, green apple and mineral flavours, a well-structured palate, the Vitese Grillo has a long and elegant finish.
Red WineA brilliant, deep red Nero d’Avola with rich, juicy flavours of ripe plum and black cherries interlaced with subtle violet notes. Concentrated on the palate, the deep fruit flavours are supported by soft, ripe tannins and a spicy character on the finish.
Nero d’Avola has long been the most important grape on the island of Sicily, thriving in the heat of the Mediterranean sunshine. Here in these sun-drenched vineyards, the highest standards are attained through the use of innovative technology and the careful process of mapping the terroir according to the weather patterns, harvesting time, soils and vine age. The vineyards are made up of distinct soil and climate conditions and range from sea-level up to 700 metres above sea level, each terroir imparting subtle complexity into the wine. The grapes undergo a sensory analysis and are hand-picked at optimum maturity.
White WineAn elegant Pinot Grigio showing floral notes with characteristic hints of citrus fruits. On the palate, it is well balanced with delicate savoury notes enveloped in a silky texture and delivers a long, elegant finish.
The grapes are grown in the San Floriano del Collio, Gorizia, Cormòns and Mossa territories in DOC Collio. The soils on the hilly region are known as ‘Ponca’, which rich in sandstone with alternating layers of marl, which produces aromatic wines. The soils offer a good balance of water retention to nourish the vines throughout the summer and ample drainage if required. Gentle sea breezes come from the Adriatic Sea which keep the vines dry and healthy, while the Alps protect the vineyards from cold, northerly winds. Warm days and cool nights offer the perfect combination to allow slow maturation of the grapes, maintaining beautiful balance between natural acidity and sugar levels.
Edda is an intoxicating blend of Chardonnay, Fiano and Moscatello delivering aromas of sun-ripened peach and mellow floral aromatics, which are interwoven with delicate hints of vanilla. Fresh and beautifully balanced, the rounded palate is elegantly styled and has a touch of minerality on the finish. It’s one of the best white wines we have tried from Puglia.
The fusion of time-honoured tradition, passion and contemporary techniques, enables San Marzano to produce wines with distinctive varietal and regional characteristics while reflecting the local terroir. The vineyard is located at approximately 100 metres above sea level and benefits from great diurnal temperature variation.
Fermentation took place in French oak barrels. Following this, the wine was matured on its fine lees in barriques for a period of four months, with weekly lees stirring which imparted texture and complexity.

Rose WineAn intense and crystal-clear rosé, with delicate floral overtones layered with wild strawberry and raspberry notes. Crisp and refreshing, with nuances of cherry and wild red fruits surrounding an uplifting finish.
This wine comes from a historic region of the Apennine countryside is known as Irpinia and it has a unique terroir and climate in which vineyards coexist with fruit trees, olives and aromatic herbs. The winds here divert a beneficial rainfall which creates a microclimate in Irpinia that differs from Campania. The winters -though brief- are snowy and cold, while the summers can be wet and prolonged.

Red WinePietradolce’s single-vineyard bottlings are among Etna’s most highly regarded. Pietradolce is all about the terroir and this 2019 Etna Rosso is made from 100% Nero Mascalese grapes grown at 800m on the northern slopes of Mount Etna. The vineyard has rich volcanic soils and an intense day/night temperature swing which helps to provide their wines with extraordinary richness, texture, aroma and depth.
In the glass, this wine opens with fragrant aromas of cherry, raspberry, herbs, chocolate and spice are joined by a subtle saline tang. It’s a similar theme in the mouth, with herbs and spice dancing around the core of vibrant, juicy raspberry and cherry fruits. Creamy softness emerges on the mid-palate, as well as some tannic grip, leading to a long, fresh, slightly saline finish that leaves you wanting another sip.

White Wine‘Pietracalda’ is Feudi di San Gregorio’s finest Fiano Di Avellino and is made from their finest Fiano grapes. Aromas of exotic fruits are enhanced by spicy undertones. Notes of fresh flowers, such as chamomile, freshly picked stoned fruits and candied citron are balanced by a crisp palate, with a lovely creamy texture and distinct minerality on the finish.

One of its most critically acclaimed projects has been AMATIVO, a wine made from a blend of two of Puglia’s most important red grape varieties: Negroamaro and Primitivo. And the name of the wine, like the blend, is a composite of the grapes that go into it: AMA from the amaro in Negroamaro and TIVO from Primitivo.
An “international-style” wine created by blending two native grapes from Puglia, the flavour profile of this cuvée gets its earthiness from the Negroamaro and its rich fruit character from the Primitivo. While the Negroamaro imparts freshness and just the right amount of tannic structure, the Primitivo gives the wine balance through its rich red fruit flavour.

White WineBruno Giacosa is considered to be one of Piedmont’s most highly regarded producers, their wines are some of the most highly sought-after in the world. Sadly the great man passed away in 2018 but since 2011 winemaking has been overseen by his protegé Dante Scaglione, together with his daughter Bruna Giacosa.
This perfect everyday drinking wine from a magnificent vintage is made from Arneis, the noblest white grape of Piemonte, which means ‘rascal’ in the local dialect. Grown in the sandy soils of the Roero it lives up to its name with its playful and lively charm.
The sand of the Roero region gives elegance and minerality to this wine, while the aromas lean towards exotic fruit, confit citrus notes and white flowers. Crisp and refreshing – a delicious Arneis from a master of the variety.

In the glass this wine is a straw yellow in colour with light golden hues. Intense yet elegant aromas of melon and candied fruit are complemented by stone fruit and floral notes, with a delicate mixture of brioche, honey and flint. Fresh and smooth on the palate, this persistent Pinot Grigio has great balance and a refreshing, mineral finish.
The quality of the Felluga range is in large part due to the fact that the fruit is grown on their 200 hectare property, which includes some of the finest vineyards in Friuli. The fruit for this wine come from their vineyards in the Colli Orientali DOC zone. Vines are planted on hillsides and the soil is marl and sandstone flysch of Eocene origin.
