This is the Zalto’s Sir Ian Botham – the perfect all-rounder! An excellent choice of glass for both red and white wines. We would also recommend this glass for rich, oaked Sauvignon blanc wines and Sauvignon/Semillon blends.

This is a must-have glass for any serious wine drinker and without doubt our favourite glass here at Wine Republic. It really excels with expressive, perfumed wines such as Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo but we also think it is a brilliant glass for Chardonnay and Viognier.
The Zalto Burgundy glass is the widest of all of the Zalto glasses and in turn, has the largest surface area thus allowing for rapid aeration. The shape of the bowl is the key to making this glass world-leading, it allows those delicate flavours and aromas to be maximised. The narrow rim and straight edges hold these aromas within the glass allowing for maximum appreciation of the aromas of your chosen wine. Over the years of using this glass, we have noticed it accentuates spice, berry and floral characteristics of the wine.

The ideal glass for your Bordeaux, Brunello, Merlot, Sangiovese, Shiraz or Tempranillo
But as with all Zalto glassware we recommend trying other wines as well and we have found that this is an amazing glass for full-bodied white wines such as Viognier.
