The winding road leading to the plots of Syrah vines located on the terraces at the foot of La Livinière gave its name to this expressive wine. In the glass La Rouge opens with aromas rich black fruits, smoke and cocoa. Inky purple in the glass the palate displays full-bodied richness, beautifully integrated acidity, juicy ripe tannins and no hard edges.
We love old vine Grenache and this beauty is no exception! Intense ruby colour in the glass with a focused, expressive nose with upfront red fruit and a subtle spice note. Full, ample, warm palate opening up to the fruit. The peppery nose dimension recurs on the finish. Lovely length that draws you into that second sip…
The Grenache for Lunatico comes from a small north-facing vineyard over half a century old. The grapes are hand-picked then sorted, though not destemmed, and vinified very gently over a 25 day period using only natural yeasts. The 24 months spent in 600-litre barrels gives Lunatico an ageing perspective of 10-15 years.

This is 100% Grenache from old vines, with no sulfur added; pure and fresh.
In the glass, the colour is deep red with violet hues. Elegant aromas of red fruits (pomegranate, cherry) and wild Mediterranean herbs waft from the glass. The medium-bodied mouthfeel seduces by its freshness, its roundness, its juicy and vibrant character. Ageing potential : 3-5 years
