The grapes come from the AOP Côtes de Roussillon, where the vineyards are located within a natural amphitheatre open to the Mediterranean Sea and are surrounded by mountain ranges. The climate is Mediterranean, strongly influenced by cooling coastal breezes combined with mountain-freshness from the foothills of the Pyrenees which balance the hot, arid summers. The vines are grown on the Roussillon plains where the soils are made up of alluvial marls with black schist, which imparts great aromatic complexity to the wines, characterised by notes of black fruits, garrigue and freshness. The vineyard is certified organic.
Red WineLa Rouviole is located in the renowned Cru La Livinière area of Minervois. Wines are made from blends of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan from the best and oldest plots of the estate.
This 2019 Minervois ‘La Régence is a full-flavoured and perfumed wine showing notes of ripe cassis with elegant cedar and chocolate notes and a fine, velvety texture.
The vineyard is located in the heart of the ‘Petit Causse’ terroir, in the Cru La Livinière production area, which lies between Carcassonne, Béziers and Narbonne. The 30-year old vines are grown on the hillside plots, on clay-limestone soil. The clay component retains moisture and nourishes the vines through the warm, summers, while the limestone imparts elegance to the resulting wines. The vineyard is orientated towards a southern exposure, which captures exceptional sunshine, over 300 days per year, which enables the grapes to reach excellent maturity and concentration. The Mediterranean is less than 25 miles away, which influences the vines with cooling oceanic breezes. The vineyard is surrounded by scrubland, with thyme, lavender, rosemary and almond, fig, cherry and olive trees all contributing to the aromatic complexity of the wines. The vineyard is managed using strict organic processes.
Red WineThis wine is a delightful blend of Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, and Cinsault grapes from the St Guilhem le Désert region in the sunny Val de Montferrand. In the glass, it offers aromas of black cherries and eucalyptus, with hints of cocoa. Only the best grapes selected from the oldest vines make it into the Cru, which is then aged for 12-18 months in oak.
Red WineThe area of Lussac is an up and coming satellite appellation of the renowned Saint Emilion region on the the Right Bank of Bordeaux. There is no doubt that one of Lussac’s most prized properties is Château Lucas, owned by the Vauthier family of Château Ausone fame. From just 18 hectares of vines, three cuvée are produced. The top wine, aptly called Château Lucas, is produced from a 12-hectare vineyard, comprising equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc. While so much of the Right Bank focuses on Merlot, the high percentage of Cabernet Franc brings a polished lift to the cuvée, vintage in and vintage out.
In the glass it opens with aromatics of raspberry and blackcurrant interlaced with plum and vanilla notes. The palate is round and balanced with flavours of earthy spices, tobacco and blackcurrants that lead into a sustained finish.
The Domaine Chignard Fleurie ‘Les Moriers’ is crafted from Gamay vines with an average age of 65+ years that are south facing to maximise their exposure to the sun and aid ripening. The steep slope on which these old vines reside flows down into Moulin-à-Vent, which is why ‘Les Moriers’ has gained such great recognition. Bottled unfined and unfiltered this wine is like a marriage of the two styles; the typical floral Fleurie character but it also has the intensity normally associated with Moulin-à-Vent.
Red WineThe appellation of Santenay lies at the southern extremity of the Cote de Beaune and is famously said to be the home of both the nymph of water and the god of wine as it is both a spa and a winegrowing centre. Producing mainly Pinot Noir the wines it produces are characterised by their supple and finely textured mouthfeel.
This 2019 Santenay La Forge from Jean Baptiste Jessiaume has a nose of redcurrant, raspberry, blueberry and violet, The palate is precise, dense and textured with lovely integrated oak. The finish is irresistible with a souring cherry acidity that adds life and balance. Will age for 10-15 years.

This Domaine stretches from the high terraces of the ‘La Crau’ and descends into the Solitude Valley. The estate covers a patchwork of soils, from sandy soil known as ‘Safres’, which offer good drainage, to clay and pebble. The vineyard has an abundance of rounded quartzite stones, known as “Galet Roulés”, which derive from the Villafranchian period. These stones absorb heat during the day then radiate it at night, promoting full grape maturity.

In the glass the 2021 Marsannay Les Longeroies opens with aromas of rose and violet. The palate is rich and lush with spice, raspberry and blackcurrant. Overall it is a fine of excellent balance and drive.
The grapes for this wine come from exceptional vineyard “Les Longeroies,” which is almost universally expected to be crowned one of Marsannay’s first-ever Premier Crus (along with “Clos du Roy”) in the near future.

It tells a tale full of crisp freshness ! This Chorey-les-Beaune, is designed to be kept for many years, it is aged 12 months in 30% new wood casks (228L Burgundian tuns).
This cuvée is produced at Les Beaumonts, which faces southeast overlooking the village of Chorey-les-Beaune. This parcel is situated on a gentle slope that leads towards the villages of Savigny-les- Beaune and Aloxe-Corton. This name of this locality is composed of two words, BEAU and MONT evoking the fertility and richness of this earth.
