  This magnificent Blanc de Blanc from Hattingley Valley has aged wonderfully as you would expect of top quality Blanc de Blanc.  It shows a vibrant hue and opens with aromas of sourdough bread, kumquat and shades of forest floor that fill the nose. The palate shows great vibrancy and weight with bright lemon oil, nectarine and brioche.  This gives way to a rich toasty and honeyed charm.   A blend of over 100 Crus, this cuvée is a true voyage of the senses across the terroir of Champagne, from the Marne Valley to south of the Aisne. The composition was completed with 35% reserve wines in order to preserve the consistency of the Champagne Collet house style, year after year. This cuvée reached full maturity after a minimum of three years of bottle ageing in the historic, limestone cellars in Ay, which are centuries old.

  Charlie Melton uses the traditional Australian technique for their sparkling red, as pioneered by Seppelts at Great Western. The base wine is aged for around two years or so in oak and then tirage bottled and left on lees for up to four years. This gives a complex aromatic of fruit sweetness and classic autolysis character and fine bubble. An important factor is the liquering dosage as this degree of sweetness ensures they will develop for decades.

  This 2002 Sparkling red was disgorged in August 2005 so has had a further 16 years in bottle.   It is an incredible bottle of wine and still has decades to go!   Rich black cherry and plum on the nose with a delightful charry element. It has a fine mousse with powerful red and black fruits. Spicy, dense with a beguiling sweetness. It has a tight, dense core of rich fruit. Off-dry and has fabulous intensity and complexity.  Fabulous!

  Pale gold with fine bubbles, the nose is full of wild strawberries and raspberries, reminiscent of British summer fruits. On the palate, this delicate fruit is accompanied by complex flavours of toasted almonds, pastry and praline. The wine balances elegance and richness in perfect harmony, with refreshing acidity and a textured, decadent finish.

  The Tillington vineyard is located in the middle of the South Downs National Park, on the narrow greensand strip formed during the Cretaceous Period. The geology is of prime importance here since it has determined the characteristics of the shallow soil above – excellent underlying drainage, low natural fertility – and influences the development of the vine roots. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines grow on a south-facing slope, ranging between a 5% and 10% incline to capture the sunlight. Every operation from pruning to picking is carefully performed so that the grapes reveal the site’s uniqueness. Winemaker Cherie Spriggs describes this plot as “something really magical.”

  An intense and luminous peachy pink rosé delivers delicate aromas of mandarin, peach, mulberries and raspberries. Refreshing, with a richness of fruit and a subtle hint of cocoa which is supported by a round, supple and velvety structure. The beautiful, silky texture is sustained by an elegant effervescence.

  The grapes for this cuvée come from 20 Crus from the Grand and Premier Crus sites of the Champagne region. The Chardonnay comes predominantly from the Premier Cru of Vertus and contributes freshness and lemony notes, while the mineral dimension and flinty aromas, come from the Cru of Villers Marmery, which has a limestone soil. The Grands Crus and Premiers Crus villages of Chouilly, Avize, Oger and Vaudemange, complete the blend with strength and complexity. The Pinot Noir comes from the Grands Cru and Premiers Cru villages of Ay, Hautvillers, Avenay Val d’Or and Louvois; it produces light, tender and fruity wines, while the Pinot Meunier imparts a roundness and suppleness. A unique blend of terroirs, producing a unique Rosé Champagne.

  A Magnum of Rosé Solera Champagne, Champagne Palmer & Co

  An irresistible rosé Champagne combining great precision, freshness and fullness with charming aromas of wild strawberries, red and black currants, along with beautiful hints of vanilla and cinnamon spice.

  This rosé Champagne was produced using the solera method. Palmer & Co is one of the rare champagne houses to have adapted this well-known technique, often used for Spanish wines, for the creation of its champagnes. Each year, Palmer & Co adds red wines from the new harvest, which have been barrel-aged and typically amounts to 6-7%, to compensate for the wine drawn off. This perpetual reserve was started 40 years ago and is kept in stainless steel tanks. It forms an extraordinary library expressing a unique combination of red fruit and spice aromas and flavours. This rosé Champagne was then bottle-aged for two to three years on the lees, in the 18-metre- deep chalk cellars which imbues the wine with incredible complexity.

  Champagne Collet, established in 1921 as part of the oldest Champagne cooperative in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ, is proud to celebrate its 100-year anniversary. To celebrate its centenary, Champagne Collet has made a commemorative bottling called “Cuvée n°21”. It is a blend of 21 of the Champagne House’s best years dating back to 1961. Aged for 7 years in Collet’s century-old chalk cellars, this wine is exclusively sourced from the Grand Cru and Premier Cru villages of Cramant, Ambonnay, Mailly, Avize, Hautvillers, Villers Marmery, Vertus, Verzenay and Chouilly. This one-of-a-kind Champagne was made in very limited quantity and will never be seen again.

  Disgorged and blended in 2021 this rare Champagne is comprised of the 21 best vintage which includes: 1961, 1969 1971, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, & 2012.

  Refined bouquet of fresh honeysuckle, buttered toast and almonds. Incredible aged characteristics in this blend. Tiny, delicate bubbles with rich and decadent flavours of caramel, roasted nuts, nectarine and candied ginger. A very long, elegant and silky Champagne.

  2002 Femme de Champagne Grand Cru Brut Nature, Champagne Duval-Leroy

  This cuvée is a reflection of the close collaboration between Carol Duval-Leroy, President of the House and Sandrine Logette-Jardin, Head Winemaker. It is only produced in the most exceptional years. Interestingly 20% of this wine was matured in used Château d’Yquem barrels, imparting texture and richness. The three revered Chardonnay Grand Cru sites of Oger, Cramant and Le Mesnil sur Oger and the Pinot Noir Grand Cru site of Ambonnay produced the grapes for this cuvée.

  A Champagne of exceptional finesse and aromatic complexity, with brioche, hazelnut and tobacco nuances layered with minerality and wonderful depth of fruit expression. Silky and elegant with great concentration and superb length.

  2002 was a year of exceptional maturity in Champagne. Dominant winds form the north and east kept the vineyards healthy. A dry year, which lead to significant water stress during the early summer, concentrating the flavours in the juice. Harvest took place mid-September and the musts were very rich in sugar, balanced by good acidity. 2002 is considered to be the vintage of the decade; one of magnificent quality.
