The vineyard for this wine’s fruit is located in Molina in the Curicó Valley at an altitude of 243 metres. It is situated on the 35th Parallel South, between the Andes Mountains and the cool Pacific Ocean. The warm dry days and cold nights encourage a long growing season. Intense sunshine is tempered by cooling sea breezes, allowing the grapes to achieve outstanding fruit aromas and exceptional colour concentration. Working with a model of micro viticulture, each plot, of no more than half a hectare, is identified according to its terroir and microclimate and planted accordingly. Grapes are subjected to specific pruning, irrigation, canopy management and harvesting, which results in grapes of optimum quality and flavour.

Here in these sundrenched vineyards, the highest standards are attained through the use of innovative technology and the careful process of mapping the terroir according to the weather patterns, harvesting time, soils and vine age. The grapes undergo a sensory analysis and are hand-harvested at the optimum maturity levels, according to the terroir and microclimate of the vineyard. They are then harvested into 20-kilogram containers, to prevent the grapes from being prematurely crushed. The vineyards are made up of distinct soil and climate conditions and range from sea-level up to 700 metres above sea level, imparting subtle complexity into the wine.

The name “Rose de Nymphe Émue” refers to a variety of pink rose that was brought to France at the end of the 17th century, from Crimea.

It’s considered a summer rosé par excellence to share with friends. Its roundness and hint of acidity make it perfect to accompany a picnic, salads, barbecue. The serving temperature is recommended to be 10-12°C.

In the glass, It has a pale salmon pink colour, the nose has strawberry bob-bons, dusted with icing sugar, and a pert feeling of freshness. The grapes are grown in the Lomas de Leyda vineyard, situated in the Leyda Valley. The Pacific Ocean has a significant influence; the vineyard is just 13 kilometres in a direct line from the sea. During the ripening period the mornings are damp and windy, while the afternoons and evenings are cooled by the sea breezes resulting in moderate maximum temperatures. This helps to ensure the slow and gradual ripening of the grapes, encouraging the aromas and flavours in the fruit balanced by natural refreshing acidity.
