De la Senne played a pivotal role in the “new wave” of craft beer coming out of Brussels, they were early advocates for well-hopped beers even before it became trendy.
This is their session blonde, Taras Boulba, a light lager with a citrusy character and hints of malt, lemon, cookies, caramel, and a touch of vanilla.
Dedicated Belgian brewers De la Senne work out of a small brewery using tradition Belgian methods. All their beers are unpasteurized, unfiltered and with no additives.

A fabulous take on an old-school Belgian-style ale. Pils malt, wheat and oats form the base with Savinjski Goldings and Chinook providing the hops, and a touch of Grains of Paradise as a spice. Fruity, floral and clean: a soft, fluffy and delicious rendition of a Saison!

A fruity and smooth red ale, and a nod to Belgian-style Dubbels. Brewed with a blend of Belgian malts including Pils, Vienna, Crystal and Special B to give a deep-amber colour, balanced with Brewers Gold, Chinook and Mosaic hops to provide a clean bitterness with pine and citrus notes.

Rolling Papers is a Hazy IPA brewed by Bullhouse Brew Co. It boasts a 5.5% ABV and features multiple dry-hop additions that combine with fruity esters from their house blend, resulting in a hazy and immensely crushable beer. The 440ml cans are vegan-friendly. Upon pouring, it reveals itself as a hazy golden brew, with intense notes of tropical fruits, citrus, and a subtle hint of pine.
This incredible value wine is produced by the Cellers Unio co-operative in Terra Alta, west of the Catalonia coastline. Garnacha thrives in these hot conditions, while the local winds blow through the vineyard, helping to temper the heat and keep the vines clean.
The wine opens in the glass with expressive aromas of flowers and red fruits with some really interesting balsamic notes. The palate is ripe, fresh and fruity with a touch of sweetness.
Brilliant Grenache for the money.
This Chardonnay is bright yellow in colour. The nose is fresh and fruity, with tropical notes of pineapple and melon. These ripe aromas carry through to the palate and are balanced with fresh acidity.
Grapes for the Tanguero wines come from the Barrancas region in southern Maipú, Mendoza. The vines here are planted on rocky, well-draining soils to the south of the Mendoza river, at 700 metres above sea level. The vineyards are located at high altitudes, meaning there is a high diurnal range. This extends the growing season and helps to retain freshness and finesse in the wines.
The wine is a blend of Garnacha, Syrah and Monastrell sourced from the rising star Valencia DO, and has been made by award-winning winemaker Victor Marqués at the state-of-the-art Bodegas Murviedro. Unoaked and fermented in stainless steel, this wine is all about freshness and capturing the essence of the Valencian sunshine.
This wine has aromas of black fruits, vanilla and toasted almonds, with a rich and rounded palate. It will pair beautifully with grilled meats, stews or cheese.
This classic Muscadet from the Loire Valley is refreshing and pure, with white fruit and citrus characters combined with crisp acidity, bright minerality and a lemony hint on the finish.
The vineyards are managed using environmentally friendly viticultural practices and are sustainably farmed. The soils are old volcanic, imparting a distinctive minerality to the wine.
A Monastrell from 50 year-old-vines, Hecula is a deep, alluring purple in the glass, boasting aromas of blueberry, wild raspberry, and liquorice with hints of violet and allspice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with an inviting richness. Notes of toasted cedar and nutmeg are neatly integrated with red berry fruit. Silky mouthfeel and soft, ripe tannins are balanced by the wine’s juicy acidity.
This wine is from Las Gruesas and Pozuelo vineyards which are situated at an altitude 750 metres above sea level. This area has a very different microclimate from the rest of the region which is clearly continental. It has minimum temperatures of -10°C in winter and up to 42°C in summer. The area is prone to infrequent but heavy spells of rain. The average age of the vines is 50 years old and the density is 1,600 vines per hectare. Soils are a mix of sandstone and limestone.
A creamy yet elegant wine with luscious tropical fruit and white peach flavours, beautifully balanced by a fresh finish. The grapes are sourced from Central Valley and in the main handpicked. The quality to price ratio that this wine offers is the reason Chile is such an outstanding wine-making country at all price levels.
An excellent value Chilean Sauvignon Blanc that ticks all the flavour boxes. An array of mouth-watering citrus aromas that recall grapefruit and limes are underpinned by vibrant herbaceous characters. Bright refreshing acidity and a hint of salty minerality on the long finish.
The grapes that make this wine are grown in Chile’s Central Valley and are largely handpicked to ensure quality.
