Red WineThe Seghesio family-owned winery started in the year 1895 when Edoardo Seghesio, an Italian immigrant and winemaker, planted the first Zinfandel vineyard in the Alexander Valley located in Sonoma County.
In the glass this 21 year old Zinfandel has lost none of its sleek smoothness, bursting with black cherry and raspberry aromas with a core of flavours that includes black cherry, cassis, cocoa, coffee, blackberry, spice and anise. Lush, harmonious, and penetrating.
This beautiful Marsanne from Domaine Ferraton is perfectly mature and drinking fabulously. Les Miaux Blanc: 100% Marsanne from soils made up of pebbles. This wine is aged on the fine lees for 10 to 12 months to add body and complexity. The nose is redolent of quince, pear and honied notes, while the palate is richer, with apricots and peaches the dominant flavours. This wine should be showing its full peacock’s tail of aromas and flavours.
Ed Durell planted the first vines in the rock-strewn, windy hills in 1979. Today, Durell Vineyard spans three AVAs: Sonoma Valley, Sonoma Coast and Carneros. The block TOR sources from lies in the famed Sand Hill section of the vineyard, which overlooks the Sonoma Valley. This 2014 Durell Chardonnay ranks among the best they have ever produced. “This has the classic seamless, almost oily palate weight and texture to it that the best Durells have but with a thread of focus that helps to pull the intensity of the palate together. This shows mandarin oranges, stone fruits and an almost cut wet grass note to it.
At full maturity and drinking beautifully. Beguiling, rich and stays in the palate for an age. The grapes for this wine come from a large plot with the evocative name of “Les Champs au pied du Mont” (“The Fields at the Foot of the Mountain”), located on the slope overlooking the outskirts of Beaune. This vineyard, facing due east, produces both red and white wine.
A bright golden Champagne with a fine stream of bubbles and complex aromas of white flowers, lemon zest, quince and white peach. A blend of over 100 Crus, this cuvée is a true voyage of the senses across the terroir of Champagne, from the Marne Valley to south of the Aisne. The composition was completed with 35% reserve wines in order to preserve the consistency of the Champagne Collet house style, year after year. This cuvée reached full maturity after a minimum of three years of bottle ageing in the historic, limestone cellars in Ay, which are centuries old.

Appassimento wines are produced through a process of partially rack-drying grapes to increase concentration of both natural grape flavours and sugars. The result is a wine of atypical power, concentration and alcohol content with an ability to benefit from long periods of maturation.

Kaiyō Whisky is a distinctive Japanese whisky house known for its rare use of Mizunara oak and its pioneering sea-maturation technique. Under the guidance of Master Blender Jeffrey Karlovitch, a Keeper of the Quaich and one of the whisky world’s most refined palates, Kaiyō crafts small batches of whisky aged in handmade Mizunara casks, some of the most precious and difficult-to-work-with barrels in the world. Once matured on land, the casks embark on a voyage at sea, where the dynamic conditions of movement, temperature fluctuations, and air pressure variations coax even greater complexity from the oak.
